ICS-ONE irrigation controller by Brilliant Integrated Technologies now available

ICS-ONE-Water_irigation
A brilliant approach to watering the lawn. The ICS-ONE™ is a fully automatic, weather-based smart irrigation controller designed for residential and commercial applications that integrates with Control4. The ICS-ONE is unique in that it communicates nightly with a central server to receive water-saving commands, and then executes those commands in accordance with the customer’s preferred watering schedule. The central server determines the optimal watering time for each of the customer’s irrigation zones based on actual recent weather and its effects on the specific foliage, soil type and solar loading for that zone.

The ICS-ONE is a fully-automatic, weather-based, patent-pending, smart irrigation controller designed for residential and commercial applications. The controller employs a sophisticated, proprietary algorithm which uses high-resolution weather data to create a customized, water-saving irrigation profile specific to each irrigation zone on the property. It is ideal for both new construction and for retrofitting into existing irrigation systems, and is compatible with sprinkler valves from all major manufacturers.

The ICS-ONE is unique in that it communicates every two hours with a central server to receive the latest weather data specific to the property’s latitude and longitude. It then calculates the precise amount of water lost in each irrigated zone, based on the zone’s specific foliage, soil type, and sun exposure. The controller accumulates the calculated daily water loss for up to four days until the next scheduled watering day and time as set by the user. It then provides the precise amount of water lost since the last irrigation sequence. The ICS-ONE determines the “How Much” and the user determines the “When.”
