Sequel Technologies Security Systems
26/Aug/2010 01:28 Filed in: New Products
We are excited to announce that Digital Smart Homes now offers security systems by Sequel Technologies for residential and commercial applications. When integrated with Control4 Automation, the security system can be tied in with lighting, motorized blinds and shades, whole home audio/video systems, door bell and much more. Imagine being able to activate your security system or trigger a panic alarm from any light switch in your home or office by simply tapping the light switch a given number of times. Arm and disarm your security system from anywhere in the world and even unlock or lock your front door at the same time from a single interface. Lighting scenes can automatically be initiated when the home is armed and in “away mode” making it seem like someone is at home. It can even turn on audio zones automatically during the day. If the alarm gets tripped, have all the lights turn on to maximum, sound the alarm through the siren and the home audio system at full blast, trigger the outside lights to flash on and off, have a text or email broadcasted to your neighbours and yourself and have your shades open up. The possibilities are endless.
The award-winning ST8 is a full-featured hybrid security system with an advanced technical design making it the perfect security system for the digital age. The system includes eight hardwired zone inputs and supports up to 56 additional zones in any combination of hardwired or wireless. Its three option bays add a high-level of functionality by providing simple plug-in installation of modules such as the Expansion Transceiver Module, Ethernet Interface Module, and Remote Audio Module. The Ethernet Interface Module (EIM) adds a host of advanced features to any Sequel Technologies security system. This 10/100 Base-T Ethernet module provides the user an elegant graphical user-interface served up directly by the EIM to any standard browser including several of the leading smart phones including iPhone*. No third-party service required. The EIM enables sending email messages about alarms and system status to a mobile phone, PC, and other digital devices. Up to three IP cameras can be linked to the EIM interface for remote viewing. In addition, the EIM provides an IP connection to the leading home automation and control systems. EIM Data Sheet
