The World’s First & Only Analog DVRs with Native Live Streaming to Control4
16/May/2012 10:07 Filed in: New Products
Wirepath™ Surveillance DVRs have been made even better with the addition of key features that make selling and installing them even easier. All DVRs now support:
Native live MJPEG video streaming directly to Control4 touch-panels and iOS apps
IP Control of DVR functions, including playback
Motion detection setup from Internet Explorer
Live Video Streaming to Control4
With this latest software update, all Wirepath DVRs now fully support Control4 user interfaces. Think of this as your Axis encoder, only much better. The DVR supplies dedicated MJPEG streams for each camera, just like Axis but at a fraction of the price – plus of course you get recording capability too!
IP Control
Want to watch live or prerecorded video on the TV using your Control4 user interface to “drive” it? We now offer a Control4 IP driver that is integrated right into their Composer programming software. Since no RS-232 port is required, even the compact 4-channel DVR now has integration capability.
Motion Detection and Privacy Mask Setup from Internet Explorer
Motion Detection and Privacy Mask functions can now be setup and adjusted remotely from your facility. No more costly truck rolls to support DVRs when updates are required to the motion detection settings
Native Live Video Streaming To Control4 User Interfaces
In the past, getting camera video onto Control4 user interfaces could be costly and cumbersome. Third party IP encoders like Axis are expensive, and they’re clunky to integrate with more wires, connectors and power required. Or dealers had to use IP cameras and for some, the networking complexity created too many headaches. With the latest Wirepath DVR software update, all of that goes away – and at a price that’s up to 60% less. Plus, unlike the above solutions, you get the ability to record video too.
Watch live camera streams right from your Wirepath DVR on your Control4 user interface! No extra hardware required.
In addition to the live video streaming awesomeness, this latest DVR software has a few other tricks up its sleeve too:
IP Control
- No RS-232 port is required, so even the compact 4-channel DVR now has integration capability.
- Motion Detection and Privacy Mask Setup from Internet Explorer
- Easier setup and no more costly truck rolls to make tweaks due to lighting and seasonal changes.
