Managed 16-Port Power-Over-Ethernet Switch with 2 Gigabit Uplink Ports
Full 15.4W on all 16 ports with Remote Power Cycling
The SW16-16PB managed Enterprise Class Power-Over Ethernet switch offers a unique spectrum of features and convenience for PoE-enabled network audio/video devices – including touch panels, wireless access points, and IP cameras.
The SW16-16PB has sixteen 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports and two Gigabit uplink ports that support RJ45 or SFP connectors. The switch can supply up to 15.4W of power to sixteen 802.af-compliant PoE-enabled devices. In the event a device needs to be rebooted, or becomes unresponsive, each individual port can be remotely power-cycled.
The SW16-16PB can be fully configured and managed using a Web browser, CLI, or Telnet. It supports audio/video bridging, 802.1q VLAN, and 802.1P Quality of Service, allowing PoE devices to pass and receive VLAN tags and control Quality of Service – an important feature for streaming audio and video.
The SW16-16PB is cased in a heavy-duty 1U metal housing, with rack-mount hardware included. All cables install from the rear, giving the switch a clean front face. Even though the switch is capable of punching out 250W of total power to sixteen PoE devices, it has extremely quiet fans, an important point for audio/video rack installations.
